My name is Richard Gonzales, and I like to design things. My designs are not meant to just look good. Instead, my designs are meant to convey a message. Design is an everday part of my life, and I believe in the full-scale creative process. I always start with research. Then I move through the entire process, from thumbnails to production.

Graphic Design is the visual communication by a skillful combination of text and pictures in advertisements, magazines, books, etc. The following are a few things I believe are essential to good Graphic Design.
About Me
Richard Gonzales is a freelance designer based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is available for hire for the following: advertising campaigns, print design, graphic design and branding. Richard specializes in clean, professional design that captures the vision of his clients. Every color, shape and placement of his design has a meaning and a purpose.
Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he accidentally stumbled into the design world in 2004 at Moore Norman Technology Center, when the class he wanted (Auto Body Shop) was full and he was placed in the Graphic Design class instead. There he learned the fundamentals of design, and how to use the Adobe Creative Suites. This gave him a slight advantage once he began his BFA Graphic Design/Marketing Management at Oklahoma Christian University. There he studied under Michael O'Keefe and David Crismon, a couple of the greatest design teachers out there.
Relationship Status
Richard is married to his highschool sweetheart Barbara. They were married on September 12, 2009, and plan on many more years together!
The "& More" Part
I'm not just as graphic designer, as you may have gathered. My wife and I are called to the missions field. Whether that be here in the city, or across the globe. We don't know for sure, all we know is that we are called.

What I Design

Pro bono publico
Occasionally, for the good of the people, I will design for free. Do you have a good cause, but a little budget? I may be able to help! It never hurts to ask, the worst I could say is no!
